Don’t you wish you could be loved perfectly? No issues, no hassles, just understood, accepted, and totally loved for who you are? I have wonderful news! There is someone who loves you that way. It is God, who loves you so much, He created you. He “knit you together in your mother’s womb” (Psalm 139:13). He joyfully and lovingly designed every part of you; both your physical body and your emotional makeup. He delights in you and loves you perfectly!

Here are just a few of the love promises He gives us in His word, the Bible.

1. He promises never to leave us or forsake us.  (Deut. 31:6)
2. He promises to provide for all our needs. (Matthew 6:25-33)
3. He promises to always be with us.  (Joshua 1:9; Matthew 28:20)
4. He promises to help us through the struggles of life. (Isaiah 41:13;  Isaiah 43:2)
5. He promises to guide us. We just need to ask and listen. (Psalm 32:8; James 1:5)
6. He promises to give us His peace. (Isaiah 26:3; John 14:27; John 16:33; Phil. 4:6-9)
7. He promises to forgive all our sins. (Isaiah 55:7; 1 John 1:9; Acts 3:19)
8. He promises to seek our highest good. (John 15:13; Romans 5:8 Romans 8:28, 32)
9. He promises to give us a hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11; John 14:1-3)

Jesus gives us many more promises in His word. Wouldn’t you like to be loved and cared for by this One who loves you perfectly? All you need to do is confess your sins and ask Him to forgive you. Then ask Him to be your Lord and Savior and start walking with Him in a relationship of love and obedience.
